WAMTB needs assistant coaches, parents, and volunteers to get involved to help make this a positive experience for everyone. No cycling skills necessary!
Mountain biking is a unique sport where student riders, coaches, and parents can all ride together. All persons involved in a WAMTB practice will need to follow the Coach License Program instituted by NICA. Details can be found at the link below:

If you are not a rider, know that there are many roles to supporting a cycling team and your contributions are highly valued and needed. Parent help is critical for team travel and organization on weekend group rides and at race venues. Races have feed zones where athletes receive water and fuel from a limited number of parents. And of course no mountain bike race circuit is complete without family, friends, and team members cheering on the riders and shaking cowbells!
